Pole Vault Canada Jan. 22-24

Canadian pole vault results and news for the past weekend.

Shawn Barber placed 5th in Rouen, France with a jump of 5.70m. Alysha Newman won in Lexington, Kentucky at 4.27m and narrowly missed 4.40m. Allison Harris from Toronto, a third year student at Princeton, improved her personal best to 4.05m moving up to #29 on the Canadian Alltime Rankings. After starting her season with a jump of 4.27m in Akron on Jan. 9th, Kelsie Ahbe is off with a lower leg injury. Meghan Lim, of Univ. of Alberta has taken over the lead from Makiah Hunt as the top ranked Canadian Jr. women with a jump of 3.78m. Robyn Webster, Edmonton International, competed for the first time since undergoing knee surgery last fall, opening with a 3.53m jump at the Golden Bear in Edmonton.
