Pole Vault Canada Feb. 15-22

Pole Vault Canada Results for the week of Feb. 15-22, 2016.

– 28 improvements in the rankings.
– Shawnacy Barber placed 2nd in France with a jump of 5.91m. Renaud Lavillenie took the top spot in the world rankings away from Shawn in the same meet clearing 6.02m.
– David Mckay jumped a strong 5.15m in Guelph.
– Melanie Blouin jumped 4.10m in Guelph on 10 strides.
– David Foley cleared 5.20m in Montreal to claim the Canadian Indoor title.
– Jason Wurster jumped 5.00m in Toronto.
– Ariane Beaumont-Courteau won the Canadian Indoor Championships with a season best jump of 4.00m
– Makiah Hunt took over the lead, from Meagan Lim,  as the top Can. Jr. by jumping 3.80m in Montreal.
– Tristan Slater, after a quiet month, jumped 5.02m in Lexington Kentucky.
– Larochelle Clemence(2001) won the Youth Girls title at the Canadian Indoor Championships with an impressive 3.05m.
